Going for globalwarming awareness2007
Many people wonder what is globalwarming awareness2007, and why I wrote it like that. The answer is a bit complicated than simple misspelling. I‘m participating in the first global world championship in search engine optimization. This is the first event of it‘s kind in the world since world seo competitions had never been organized before and this is one of the most interesting event that happened in the seo community lately.
The seo world championships started on January 15th. The goal is to achieve highest ranking possible in all search engines for the keyword "globalwarming awareness2007". This keyword returned zero results for all queries on January 14th, but less than a month later when you search for globalwarming awareness2007 you can easily find more than million and a half search results.
The globalwarming awareness2007 seo contest is ruling the web. SEO‘s from all over the world struggle to get high rankings for this misrable keyword and some are quite successfull. The UK SEO team is currently on first position for the last week or so, and tailing them are some US competetors...
My entry for the globalwarming awareness2007 seo competition is representing the great city of New York as (as far as I know) I‘m the only SEO from New York participating in that competition. Our entry is still struggling in the lower 200s in the search results and I‘m not really happy about it but that‘s the situation for now. The competition is so comprehensive that enormous efforts in content generation and time availability is required. Many of you know that I work full time and I don‘t have too much spare time to dedicate to this competition, but every free minute is spent on this very nice project.
I‘ve allocated some resources from my company to help me out in the competition and I‘m combining this contest with the development of one of our projects - SEO Website Content Management System (CMS for short). We are trying to optimized the performance of this CMS and fine-tune it‘s modules in order to achieve top rankings for the competition and in the same time make some quality advertising for the cms. If we rank on the top 100 we can easily say that this is one of the best content management systems and is already tested with its participation in the world championships.
Each week we change our strategy implementing new elements both to our globalwarming awareness2007 website and the seo website cms. Three weeks ago we developed the Bot Trap module, a week later the news module, then a the RSS module, and now we are building the seo directory module. All these features are showing their effect in the competition and in the same time are forming one very nice seo optimized content management system.
There is more than a month until the end of the competition. We are working intensively in implementing new strategies and features, but only time will show the effect of our efforts. Hopefully we will be able to finish in the top 100 as this is our primary goal. If we rank higher than even better but the 100s is our current goal.
